The red wine Riserva Maglen is honored by the DOC sudtirol Alto Adige certification. It is produced by 100% Pinot Nero grapes coming from two refined micro areas which give the name of this fantastic Tramin: Mazzon e Glen (MaGlen). All the cultivation soils are located at 450 meters above the sea level and they are mostly clay with some sand. The vinification starts with a long maturation on peels at 24°C in big oak barrels. After the aging in French barrels for 14 months, the wine is put in bottles for at least one year before being commercialized.
