The Pinot Nero of the Tramin winery is a polyvalent wine with a wide and round taste with is suitable with many Italian courses. Also this wine has the DOC certification, Südtirol-Alto Adige, which honor most of the Tramin wines. This wine is made by 100% Pinot Nero. The cultivation area are the Mazzon and Montagna and the vines are located at 350-450 meters where there is a good union between the humidity of the soil and the wind. The soils are calcareous, clay and pebbly. The profit is 55 hectoliters per hectare. The maceration takes place at 26°C with several pumping over and pushing down during the day. The following aging period takes place in oak barrels and partially in stainless steel tanks. Finally the Pinot Nero is bottled in an elegant and refined bottle. The closing bottle cap is made by glass and makes this product unique and particular.
Characteristics of the Pinot Nero DOC wine produced by Tramin
It can be aged from 3 to 6 years in bottles. It has a ruby red color with light garnet reflections visible backlight. The perfume is fresh and charming with berries aromas. The taste is harmonic with fruity tannins, sapid, and very fine.

The Pinot nero Tramin is perfect with egg pasta flavored with meat sauce, roasted meat, pizzaiola, and game in humid. It is perfect with cheeses such as the pecorino. It has to be served at 16-18°C in Bordeaux wine glasses.
