Founded in 1907 as a cooperative, San Michele Appiano is a winery that has passed down values such as passion and dedication to work from generation to generation, opening, in 1977, a new production practice, marked by rigour and a careful selection of wine-growing areas. The company has become over time a reference point in Italy and a model for producers in Trentino Alto Adige: today it gathers 340 families, which represent the backbone of this solid reality, and embraces about 370 hectares of vineyards, among the most suitable for optimal soil composition and microclimate, mainly cultivated with white grapes.
