La Bonarda Valle Cima DOC of the Agricultural company Monterucco is a red, young wine produced in Lombardia in the Oltrepò of Pavia. The name “Valle Cima” comes from the suburb where the historical Monterucco cave is located. The grapes are 100% croatina cultivated in the own property vineyard. The wine making concerns 5-6 days in maceration in the vinasse then it is kept in cement tanks and finally in steel. It is bottle and stocked.
The characteristics of the Bonarda dell'Oltrepò Pavese
It has a deep ruby red color with some light violet reflections. The scent is sweet with some intense red fruit and cherry flavors. The taste has a good structure, inviting and really agreeable with some red fruit aftertaste.

It has to be served in medium wide wine glasses at 14-16°C. It is ideal for cold cut, ravioli both in soup than with sauce. You have to try it with fish, because if you like the risk, it will certainly amaze you.
