The Azienda Agricola Monterucco founded its roots in 1936, when Luigi Valenti gave birth to the company, later managed by his sons Roberto and Silvano, who wanted as their father to ensure the highest quality and typicality of these lands. Since the 80s Cascina Monterucco began to produce the first great wines of the company. Located in the first hills of Oltrepò Pavese in Cicognola. Alongside the family traditions handed down by his father and the most modern wine technology, the winery produces great wines that place it among the most prestigious of Oltrepò Pavese. Today the properties cover 20 hectares and the production includes: Pinot Nero DOC, Riesling DOC, Bonarda dell'Oltrepo Pavese DOC, Pinot Grigio DOC, Barbera DOC, Buttafuoco DOC, Sangue di Giuda DOC, Malvasia IGT and Pinot Rosè IGT.
