This Cabernet Franc of the Livon Farm was born in the vineyards of Collio Friulano. It is a Cabernet vine, cultivated on soils of marl and clay. The harvest takes place exclusively by hand in boxes, soft destemming, and subsequent fermentation on the skins for 18 days. Maturation takes place for 30% in barriques and the remaining 70% in steel tanks at controlled temperature. It is then reassembled and left to age in the bottle.
Characteristics of the Cabernet Franc
On the organoleptic test, this Cabernet Franc has a ruby red color with violet reflections; the nose is herbaceous with hints of bell pepper and tomato leaf. The mouthfeel is full-bodied, intense and persistent.
Recommended pairings with this red wine
This wine is served at a temperature of 18 degrees in glass not very wide. Excellent with red meat, poultry and game.
