Schioppettino "Picotis" di Livon was born in the vineyards of Picotis, in the Municipality of San Giovanni al Natisone in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The vine used is 100% Schioppettino, cultivated on clay soils. The harvest is done exclusively by hand in boxes, with soft destemming and subsequent fermentation in contact with the skins for 18 days. The wine ages for another 13 months in barrique and finally it is bottled and aged for a long period in bottle.
