The Chardonnay di Livon is produced in the vineyards of the DOC del Colli, more precisely in the municipality of Dolegna del Collio, Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The harvest is done exclusively by hand in boxes, with subsequent cold maceration and decanting for the cleaning of the must. The fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature; the product obtained remains in the tanks themselves for maturation for about 5 months. It is then bottled and aged in bottle.
Characteristics of the Chardonnay
This Chardonnay DOC Livon has a brilliant straw yellow color; the nose is dominated by fruity notes of apple, bread crust and hazelnut. The mouthfeel is soft, fresh and persistent.
