The wine used for the vinification of this label of Cantina Mesa is the autochthonous one of Vermentino della Sardegna. The production area is within the boundaries of the company, in the territory of Sulcis, in the south-west of Sardinia. The harvest takes place between the end of August and the beginning of September. The vinification involves fermentation which is carried out between 12 ºC and 14ºC. It follows short aging in steel and maturation for at least 2 months in bottle.
Characteristics of this Sardinian wine
The appearance is straw yellow, with greenish reflections. The nose is intense; it is expressed with fruity notes and fresh hints of white flowers. The taste on the palate is good acidity, savory, elegant and harmonious.
