From the vinification in purity of grapes of Carignano, The production area is that of the territory of Sulcis, in the south-west end of Sardinia. The harvest falls in the first ten days of September. The vinification foresees that the destemmed-pressing grapes follow a preferential maceration of at least 12 hours. After pressing, fermentation is carried out in steel with selected yeasts at 16-18 ºC. Stabilization and maturation continue in steel to finish with the aging in glass of at least 2 months.
Characteristics of this Sardinian wine
The appearance of this wine is of a cherry pink color. The nose expresses beautiful notes of small red fruits such as black currant and blueberry, plums in jam and fruit in spirit, spicy and balsamic hints. The taste is fruity, juicy and very elegant that persists in freshness and a hint of citrus.
