From the grape variety of Carignano, The production area is that of the territory of Sulcis, in the south-west end of Sardinia. The harvest is started in the second and lasts until the third decade of September. At the vinification it foresees that the destemmed and slightly crushed grapes are dropped by gravity in the tanks, where fermentation begins, they are left to macerate with the must for 9-12 days at 26 to C. After racking the wine is left to age in steel for at least 6 months. The wine is aged for a minimum of 2 months in bottle.
Characteristics of this Sardinian wine
The appearance of the wine is dark ruby red and bright. The nose expresses a beautiful Mediterranean character thanks to hints of ripe fruit that fade towards pomegranate, geranium and black pepper. The taste in the mouth is strong, tasty, sunny. A balanced and pleasant taste, full-bodied, characterized by a defined and never invasive tannic texture. The finish is excellent, long and slightly balsamic.

Beautiful for balance, the "Dark" is red wine ideal to accompany grilled preparations, even tuna. Perfect with a plate of aged cheeses. The optimal serving temperature is 16 ºC in a large glass that promotes oxygenation.
