The Montefalco Rosso DOC from the Colpetrone winery is produced with Sangiovese, Native grape variety of the area and Merlot grapes. The bunches are harvested manually before being pressed; the must thus obtained then undergoes fermentation with maceration at a controlled temperature of 24-28°C. The refinement takes place in the bottle.
