From the cultivation of pure cabernet sauvignon grapes comes this Friulian red wine from Zorzettig Winery. After careful selection of the best bunches of grapes during manual harvesting, destemming, pressing and fermentation in stainless steel are carried out in the cellar: this is also where the final stage of refinement takes place, lasting until the spring following the harvest.
Characteristics of this Friuli wine
It presents a very intense red colour with violet reflections. The olfactory notes recall red fruits such as blackberry and strawberry but there are also pleasant hints of plum and tobacco. On the palate it is full, well balanced and with excellent persistence.
Recommended pairings with this Friulian red wine
Try it with pork, red meat, lamb chops and mature cheese. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 C°.
