From the rich experience of the Massucco, that since 4 generations are been producing wine, born the white wine “Sole dei Tempi”. This wine retraces, in a modern way, the method of the ancient Greeks and Romans who gave us their culture. It takes more than two years to experiment the right way to produce this wine composed by a blend of Arneis which gives the right balance and unicity. The Arneis grapes can achieve incredible, soft and delicate stages of taste.
Characteristics of the wine from Piedmont
The annual production profit is 70 quintals per hectare. A part of the harvest is picked and worked in October. The other part is left additional 30/40 days in the vineyard depending on the weather conditions and the side of the Tanaro river where they are cultivated. It follows a maceration period of 6 months in oak barrels. The result is a combination of different sensations due to the different maturation periods of the grapes coming from the same vineyard. It has a light straw yellow color with a scent of exotic fruits. The taste is harmonic and dry lightly sour with a sweet aftertaste.
