Wine description
Produced from pure Picolit grapes, this sweet Friulian wine from Zorzettig Winery originates in the upper part of the Colli di Spessa: here the soils are particularly rich in marl and sandstone. After manual harvesting, the grapes are crushed and destemmed, with subsequent maceration on the skins for 48 hours. The final stage of ageing takes place in oak barriques.
Characteristics of this Friulian wine
It presents a golden yellow colour. The olfactory notes are reminiscent of apricot, tropical fruit and nutmeg. On the palate it is soft, fresh and intriguing.
Recommended pairings with this sweet wine from Friuli
Perfect with chocolate, cakes and desserts, dry pastries. Try it with blue cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 12-14 C°.
