Wine description
From a blend of Trebbiano, Falanghine and Pecorino grapes comes this white wine from Abruzzo by the Collefrisio winery. For the production of this wine, the grapes are harvested during the first ten days of October: after pressing, maceration is carried out at a low temperature with subsequent soft pressing. The must then ferments in barriques for 12 months, directly on the fermentation lees.
Characteristics of this Abruzzi wine
It has a straw yellow colour with slightly golden hues. The olfactory profile is decidedly fruity and recalls yellow peach, apricot, vanilla and bread crust on the finish. The palate is complex and with great persistence.
Recommended pairings with this white wine from Abruzzo
Try it with fish dishes, from starters to main courses. Also excellent with sushi. Serve at a temperature of 8-10 C°.
