It is a refined wine of the Tuscany Banfi winery. It is produced in the Montalcino hamlet at 170-230 meters above the sea level. The soil has a brown-yellow color quite clay with limestone. It is made with a blend composed especially with Sangiovese grapes. The cultivation method is the cordon spur pruning with a density of 4200 trees per hectare with a profit of 70 quintals. There is the fermentation for 8-12 days a bit in stainless steel tanks and a bit in Horizon barrels at 24-26°C and it the last three days become 30°C. There is the malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels where the wine matures for 14 months. There is a final bottle refinement.
