Wine description
This Chianti Superiore DOCG is made with Sangiovese grapes coming from the vineyards located on the south slope of Montalcino. The fermentation and the maceration lasts 8 days at 25-30°C. After the malolactic and alcoholic fermentation stops there is an aging period in French oak barrels for 4-5 months. There is a following bottle refinement.
Characteristics of the Chianti Superiore DOCG
It has an intense ruby red color. The smell is fresh and fruity with wild violet, berries, cherry and prune aromas. The taste is full and round. IT is drinkable, soft and persistent.
