Wine description
This Abruzzo red wine from the Collefrisio Winery is made from pure Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes. Following the manual harvesting of the grapes, which takes place during the month of October, the grapes are destemmed and then macerated on the skins for about 20 days. The final ageing phase requires a double passage, in steel and then in wood.
Characteristics of this Abruzzi wine
It has an intense ruby red colour; the olfactory profile recalls black cherry, plum and spices. It has an excellent structure on the palate and impresses with its persistence.
Recommended pairings with this Abruzzo red wine
Try it with meat or game dishes. Also perfect with mature cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18 C°.
