“Barbera d’ Alba Vigna Scarrone” produced in Piedmont by Vietti, has the denomination DOC that certifies its controlled origin. It is produced with 100% Barbera grapes, coming from “Scarrone” vineyard, located in the district of Castiglione Falletto. The wine making process starts with cold maceration. Then, the alcoholic fermentation, managed in steel containers left opened, lasts for two weeks. A second maceration follows, before the wine is poured in barriques for the malolactic fermentation. The aging lasts for 18 months between barriques, barrels and steel containers.
