This blend by Manincor is composed by 94% Chardonnay, 4% Viogner and 2% Sauvignon Blanc, cultivated in Lieben Aich and Mazzon di Caldaro. The first is a vineyard with a warm micro-climate, south-west exposition and 300 meters elevation, while the second one is located 350 meters above the sea level, with south exposition. Even the composition of the soil is different: Lieben Aich is characterized by volcanic lands rich of sands, while Mazzon di Caldaro has a structured composition where clay dominates. The wine making starts with the elimination of stalks and it is followed by 4 hours maceration on skins, in order to extract aromas and structure. The spontaneous fermentation is managed in wooden barrels. 9 months aging on lees exalt aromas and taste.
