Rosso di Montepulciano DOC FATTORIA DEL CERRO

This Rosso Di Montepulciano of the Fattoria del Cerro is produced exclusively with Prugnolo Gentile Sangiovese grapes according to the tradition. Immediately after the harvest, the wine begins to ferment in steel at a controlled temperature of 24-26°C with daily pumping over; then follows an aging of at least 4 months in contact with the skins. Subsequently the wine is bottled.

Characteristics of this Tuscan wine

On the organoleptic examination this Tuscan wine shows a ruby red color and a perfume that refers to floral and fruity notes, with a spicy finish. On the palate it looks like a fresh and fruity wine with well balanced tannins.

This Tuscan red wine goes perfectly with traditional Tuscan foods such as first courses based on sauces, grilled meats and roasts. To be served at a temperature of 16-18°C in a not very large glass.
