Wine description
This Rosso di Montalcino DOC from La Poderina Winery is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grosso grapes according to the tradition. The bunches are harvested manually before being pressed and placed to ferment in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24-26°C with daily pumping over. The refinement is completed in steel.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
To the organoleptic examination this wine shows a ruby red color; to the nose, hints of red fruits and violets predominate. On the palate it has a nice persistence and looks like a fresh and fragrant wine.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this red wine
This wine goes perfectly with traditional Tuscan meat dishes. To be served at a temperature of 16-18°C in a fairly not very large glass.
