Wine description
From the pure Sangiovese Grosso grape harvest comes this Tuscan red wine from Famiglia Falorni Winery. The hand-picked bunches during the harvest are pygiodiraspato and fermented in steel at a controlled temperature for 3 weeks, at a constant temperature of 27°C. The aging phase takes place in oak barrels for 14 months and finally for another 6 in the bottle.
Characteristics of this Rosso di Montalcino
It has a ruby red color tending towards garnet as it ages. Fragrant aroma, with chye olfactory notes reminiscent of small red fruits. On the palate it is characterised by persistent aromatic notes.
Recommended pairings with this Tuscan red wine
Excellent with boiled meats, roasts, stews, pasta with ragù or with aged cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.
