Rosso di Montepulciano DOC is one of the most representative wine of Tuscany region. Grapes are Sangiovese and Canaiolo. Grapes are harvested and selected, then fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of about 28-30°C for 12 days. Then wine is refined in small oak barrels for 8 months. After bottling, wine will rest in cellar at a controlled temperature of 4 months.
Characteristics of Rosso di Montepulciano
This fine Rosso di Montepulciano presents a ruby red colour. Full-bodied, sapid and well-balanced on the mouth. Bouquet releases fruity notes.
Recommended pairings while tasting this red wine
It should be served in a crystal wine glass at a temperature of about 16-18°C. We suggest to uncork the bottle some minutes before serving, in order to enhance its qualities. It can be perfectly paired with main courses with meat sauce, mushroom risotto and grilled red meat.
