Wine description
The Roero Arneis "Poggio di Caro" of Cantina Enrico Serafino was born in the vineyards of the Roero area. It is produced with 100% Arneis grapes, grown on sandy-clay soils. After the manual harvest, the must is cooled to preserve its best characteristics before fermentation in steel tanks: it is a phase that takes from 12 to 15 hours with cryomaceation at a temperature of 8-10ºC. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in steel tanks. The aging takes place exclusively in bottle, for a duration of 3 months.
Characteristics of Roero Arneis "Poggio di Caro" Docg
On the organoleptic examination, this Piedmontese wine shows a straw yellow color with golden reflections. The nose attracts aromas of apple, pear, chamomile, tropical fruit. The mouthfeel is fresh, dry, delicate, harmonious and pleasantly fruity, soft with a pleasant mineral aftertaste.
Serving suggestions with this white wine from Cantina Enrico Serafino
It goes perfectly with pasta dishes with light sauces, risotto, fish and white meats. Also excellent as an aperitif. Serve at a temperature of 10ºC in a glass not very wide.
