The Barbera d'Asti "Cruva" Docg from Enrico Serafino Winery is produced with 100% Barbera grapes harvested by hand in the vineyards located in the province of Asti. After harvesting by hand, the bunches are carefully selected by hand and cooled with carbonic snow to prevent oxidation. Then the soft pressing is followed without the use of augers to preserve the characteristics of the bunch; the must is then cooled and then fermented in stainless steel tanks. Followed by maceration with délestage and aging of 14 months in oak barrels.
Characteristics of Barbera d'Asti "Cruva" DOCG
On the organoleptic examination, this Piedmontese wine shows an intense ruby red color with typical violet reflections. The nose is rich in aromas of small red fruits, violet, ripe grapes and spice notes. The mouthfeel is fresh, medium-structured, very balanced with a soft acidity and a long spicy finish.
