The grape variety used for its vinification is that of 100% Pinot Nero. The origin is the classic one of the finest vineyards of the farm, located at an altitude of 400 meters above sea level. The vineyards have a southwest exposure on gravel and limestone soils of moraine origin, with a cool microclimate. For the vinification alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel with a maceration at controlled temperature of 25-28°C. Malolactic fermentation follows in wooden barrels then the wine ages for others12 months, partly in new barriques and partly in second/third passage barriques.
