The origin is situated in South Tyrol, which vineyards stand at an altitude of 400 up to 460 meters above sea level. Here soils are characterized by rich morainic deposits mixed with clay and porphyritic gravel. After a few hours of cold maceration, vinification involves soft pressing while fermentation takes place in steel at a.c. 18°C. The wine is left on the fine lees until bottling.
