The Bonera is an exceptional Rosso Terre Siciliane IGT wine that comes from Menfi with hot summer days and with strong thermal excursion between night and day. This wine comes from Bonera in the Menfi town in the Agrigento province. This wine is made by 50% Nero d’Avola and 50% of Cabernet Franc. The soils are lime-sandy and the profit is 120 quintals per hectare with a density of 4500 trees per hectare. They are located at 90-150 meters above the sea level and they are exposed at south. There is a maceration of the grapes for 8-10 days at 22°C then it follows the barrels aging period for 3 months and finally the bottle aging period of 4 months.

The Bonera di Sicilia IGT has a ruby red color with intense purple reflections. The smell has red fruits aromas perfectly mixed with dry fruits hints of prune and almonds. The taste is intense and full with a good structure given by the silky and sweet tannins.
