From the vinification of pure Moscato Rosa grapes. The origin for the company's fine vines lies in the Corniano area, near Appiano. Harvest involves the vinification and fermentation in stainless steel with maceration on the skins for 5 days, followed by pressing and a continuation of fermentation in stainless steel until the desired alcohol content is reached. Maturation in stainless steel. Finally, the refinement which extends for 9 months.
Moscato Rosa Praepositus DOC Abbazia di Novacella’s features
A bright ruby red color. Perfume gives pleasant hints of wild strawberries and raspberry jam, which are embellished with floral nuances of geranium and rose, and with hints of spices, lavender and musk. Taste in the mouth is sweet but still balanced, slightly tannic and slightly bitter on the finish.
