This wine is produced at Barbaresco with 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The cultivation method is the classical and modern French Guyot and the vines were planted in 1980 at 280 meters above the sea level. The soil is mostly calcareous and the exposition is South-west. The grape harvest takes place in October. There is a manual picking and it follows a soft pressing. The berries have to macerate on their peels for 12 days with several manual punching down and pumping over of the must. The following fermentation lasts 1 months and it follows the refinement which takes place in oak barrels for 24 months and finally 6 months in bottle.
