Gewurztraminer "AIME" DOC GIRLAN

This sensational white wine is produced with local grapes of Trentino Alto Adige that are famous worldwide: Gewürztraminer. It praises the denomination Alto Adige DOC. The variety is cultivated in Termeno, in the area of Bassa Atesina. The bunches are light redIn Egna and Montagna, this vine variety finds its perfect terroir. The soil is light and warm and the sun that characterize these lands makes this wine express its best in the glass. The manual harvest is followed by the elimination of stalks. The fermentation is managed in steel containers for 12 till 15 days. After the malolactic fermentation starts the aging that lasts for 15 months. It is developed in big barrels made of oak. After the assembly, the wine is aged for 6 months in the bottle.

Intense straw yellow colour enriched by a deep and aromatic perfume full of fruity hints that recall yellow flowers, peach, pineapple, plum, citrus fruits and minerals. The taste is soft, fresh, full, juicy and persistent.

Perfect with crustaceans, it is excellent with prawns dressed with curry sauce. It has to be served at 10°C in a high, wide wine glass that allows the diffusion of the perfumes.
