Starting from the amazing Gewürztraminer vine capable of producing aromatic grapes of a higher level, the winery Hofstätter of Trentino Alto Adige, produces the white wine Gewürztraminer able to boast the Denomination of Controlled Origin DOC. The land on which the vines rise is characterized by being mainly marly, light, well ventilated and subject to fast heating. The vinification requires that the grapes are immediately lightly pressed and the must left for a few hours in contact with the skins. This process is followed by a careful pressing, the natural precipitation of sediments and the fermentation at controlled temperature of a maximum of 16 º C. This unusual and particular process is aimed at enhancing the unique organoleptic characteristics of this wine.

To the aspect evidenced by the organoleptic examination, the wine is a bright and intense straw yellow. The scent is broad and wrapping, has a good concentration and a pronounced aromatic vein, with spicy notes - smoked, of dried flowers and roses that tend to expand and thicken in the glass. The taste on the palate is dense and rich, with a firm body, remarkable freshness and vivacity. It is preferable to allow this wine to age in bottle for at least 1 year, so that it can age its bouquet to the maximum.
