Wine list | Gewurztraminer |
This is a classic product of the local tradition from Trentino, this wine is produced in a single variety vinification with Gewürztraminer grapes cultivated and produced in the Kettmeir company, internationally renowned. The grapes are cultivated at 300-500 meters above the sea level on clay soils, mostly calcareous with a good presence of rocks and organic substances which give resistance to the vines. They are cultivated in shoot positioning and the trellised method with respectively a density of 6000 and 3500. The wine making process starts with a short maceration on peels at low temperatures to help and optimize the extraction of the aromas that the grapes give to the wine. It follows the fermentation in steel tanks at 17-19°C.
Characteristics of the white wine Gewurztraminer
