From the vinification of Nebbiolo grapes. The origin is the classic one of Piedmont, Barolo and La Morra areas. Harvest by hand. Vinification involves alcoholic fermentation in oak vats with 20 days maceration. The refinement is about 24 months in medium oak barrels and 12 months in the bottle. These bottles are produced only in a limited number and sold only on assignment.
Barolo Cerequio DOCG Michele Chiarlo’s features
A garnet ruby red color with brilliant reflections. Scent is full, of great character with notes of ripe fruit, mint, eucalyptus, gentian and very fine spices. Taste on the palate is rich in structure with a dense texture of fine tannins.
