From the vinification of Nebbiolo grapes in purity. The origin is the classic one of Piedmont in the DOCG area of Barolo. Harvest by hand. vinification takes place with fermentation in oak vats for 15 days, at a temperature between 27 and 30 degrees; then it ages in oak barrels for two years, and in glass for a further 15-16 months. Refinement for these products takes place only in exceptional years in a limited number of bottles and sold only on assignment.
Barolo Cannubi DOCG Michele Chiarlo’s features
A garnet ruby red color with brilliant reflections. The perfume has notes of cherries, blackberries, licorice, mint, tar and tobacco. Taste is elegant and opulent at the same time, thanks to a dense but smooth tannin and excellent acidity. It closes with a very long finish.
