From the vinification of 100% pure Cortese grapes. The origin is the classic one of the Piedmont area, Gavi. Harvest by hand is preceded by the summer thinning of the excess bunches. Vinification follows with partial cold maceration followed by soft pressing and fermentation with indigenous yeasts for 12/15 days at a temperature between 16 and 18 ° C in steel tanks. At last comes the refinement during which the wine remains on its lees for 3 - 4 months in steel tanks on average.
Gavi Le Marne DOCG Michele Chiarlo’s features
A straw yellow color with bright greenish reflections. The scent is fragrant and delicate on the nose, opened by hints of acacia flowers and fruity hints of Golden apple, then citrus notes and subtle references to bread crust. The taste in the mouth is that of fresh and full-bodied apple, persistent and pleasantly savory on the finish.
