The "Michei di Michei" is a 100% Pinot Noir, born in the Trentino estate of Hofstatter. The vinification takes place for 75% with destemmed grapes and for 25% with whole bunch. The fermentation takes place in wooden vats with a period of maceration on the skins for about ten days. The wine ages for one year in small oak barrels, for six months in large oak barrels and ends with one year in the bottle.
Characteristics of this red wine
The wine has a clear and luminous ruby color with light garnet reflections. The bouquet is characterized by subtle floral nuances, aromas of red currant, raspberry, strawberry, marasca cherry, hints of aromatic herbs and delicate sensations of vanilla and spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and agile, with a crisp fruit, velvety tannins and a finish of great mineral freshness.
