This fabulous wine represents Mamete Prevostini. It is a blend of grapes cultivated in Valtellina: 60% Traminer Aromatico and 40% Riesling. The vineyards are located in the area IGT Alpi Retiche, in Palazzo Vertemate Franchi in the district of Puro. The harvest starts in the last days of September. Only the perfect grapes are dried for 4 months and then pressed. After the fermentation, the aging in oak lasts 12 months and continues in the bottle for other 6 months.
Features of this Passito wine
Gold yellow colour with amber shades. Its perfume is characterized by apricot jam, candied fruits, spices, homey, dried flowers and minerals. The taste is balanced, soft, pleasant and fresh.
Recommended food pairings while tasting this Passito wine
Perfect with foie gras, dessert, cakes and biscuits. It has to be served at 14°C in a small wine glass that helps the concentration of the scents.
