Produced with 100% Moscato Bianco grapes, this dry Moscato from the Apulian winery Polvanera comes from the Marchesana vineyard in Gioia del Colle and the Macchia di Gatto vineyard in Casamassima, near Bari. Once mechanically harvested during the harvest of the first week of September, the grapes are subjected to soft pressing with maceration in the press for 2/3 hours and subsequently fermented in steel for 20 days at a temperature of 13 ° C. The final phase of refinement requires the permanence for 3 months in stainless steel and for another 2 months in the bottle.
Characteristics of this dry Apulian Moscato
The organoleptic examination shows a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Citrus and white peach notes pervade the olfactory bouquet, as well as anise and sage. On the palate there is the right balance, with a slightly mineral finish.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this Apulian white wine
