This Moscato Bianco DOP of the Château Feuillet Winery from Valle d'Aosta is produced with 100% white Moscato grapes, grown in the sandy vineyards located in the town of Saint-Pierre. After the manual harvest which takes place in October pressing and maceration of the grapes on the skins for 2 days; then controlled fermentation phase takes place with a maximum temperature of 18°C. After the maturation in steel tanks, the product obtained is bottled to be subjected to a refinement of 2 months and at the end of spring it is ready to be marketed.
Characteristics of this Valdostano wine
The organoletic examination shows a bright yellow color characterized by aromas of white-fleshed fruit, which are then revived in the olfactory notes. In the mouth it is characterized by intensity and persistence.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this white wine from Valle d'Aosta
Excellent as an aperitif. Try it with desserts and Patè too. Serve at a temperature of 10-12°C in a not very large glass.
