La Fusina cellar produces this sensational red wine with 100% Pinot Noir grapes, cultivated in vineyards oriented from west to east, planted on soils full of sands. These elements give to this wine all the features that make it famous worldwide. The plants are between 25 and 40 years old. The wine-making starts with 8 days fermentation, managed at controlled temperature. The aging is developed in French barriques of 1st and 2nd passage and lasts 18 months. The evolution continues in the bottle, where the wine rests for other 12 months.
Feature of this red wine "Pinot nero DOC"
This Pinot Noir has a deep ruby red colour enriched by red-purple shades. Its scent is intense and fruity, with sensations that recall red fruits and currant that predict the softness of this red. The taste is warm and spicy, with hints of vanilla and fruits that contribute to its structure. Its low level of acidity makes it versatile in food pairings.
Recommended food pairings while tasting this red wine produced by La Fusina
The versatility of this product makes it perfect both for classic and innovative preparations. It is great with braised or stewed red meat, but it is fabulous with fish and delicate risotto too.
