This wine is produced with 100% Lagrein grapes and the wine has the DOC Alto Adige certification. The Lagrein DOC belongs to the classic line. There is a manual picking of the grapes then the berries are racked off and it follows the slow fermentation under temperature control and the delicate removing of the must in stainless steel tanks. The malolactic fermentation and the aging lasts 7-10 months in big wood barrels. The territory cultivation is located at north of Terlano. All soils have a slope of 25% and they are exposed at South, South-west at 250-400 meters above the sea level.
