The secret of Serapis is expressed by the natural features of Greco, one of the most ancient white grapes of Avellino. It is the result of the selection of the best grapes coming from the DOCG area around Avellino. This fabulous wine is produced with 100% Greco di Tufo grapes. The harvest is planned in the middle of October. The wine-making considers fermentation at controlled temperature and cooled maceration for 14 days. The aging is developed in inox for three months and continues in the bottle for at least 2 months.
Features of this white wine from Campania
This famous wine, produced by Montesole Winery, has a straw yellow colour full of green shades, given by its youth. Its perfume is characterized by flowers, fruits like oranges, yellow peach, grapefruit and almond. The taste is dry and elegant.
Recommended food pairings while tasting this Greco di Tufo
Excellent with elaborated preparations with fish or white meat. It has to be served at 10°C in a high, tapered wine glass, that concentrates the perfumes.
