The Grechetto Colli Martani DOC is a white wine from Umbria of the Romanelli agricultural company. The grapes used for this great white wine form Umbria are picked by hand and selected and evidently they come from the Romanelli company. The grapes fermentation lasts 18-20 days and after the racking the wine has to refined in steel barrels for about 6 months. Lately the wine is filtered and refined in bottle.
The characteristics of the white wine Grechetto
The grapes used for the production of this wine are 100% Grechetto. It has a straw yellow color with gold reflections. The scent reminds the elegant fruit aromas: peach, grapefruit, apple, pineapple and honey. The taste is soft, sapid and lightly persistent.
Suggested pairing with this Grechetto
It has to be served in medium big wine glasses at 10-12°C. It is perfect with fish courses, white meats and sea main courses.
