This red wine from the Marotti Campi winery in the Marche region is made from a blend of grapes: Petit Verdot, Montepulciano and Cabernet Sauvignon; the vineyards are located at 180 m above sea level and grow on predominantly clay-rich soils, exposed to the south/south-west. Following the manual harvest that takes place between late September and early October, the wine is vinified for 6 days in contact with the skins at a controlled temperature. The fermentation procedure ends in steel. The final phase of aging requires the stop in small French oak barrels for 12 months and then in the bottle for another 12 months.
Characteristics of this Marche wine
