From the wise vinification by Marco Felluga technicians of 100% Chardonnay grapes. An international sexational grape variety that in Friuli has adapted to the climate and the territory. Its origins lie in the business areas of Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the municipalities of Farra d'Isonzo, San Floriano and Cormòns, in the DOC Collio area, at an altitude of 80 m, 250 m and 80 m above sea level. For vinification and fermentation, after harvesting the grapes are separated from the stalk. The juice and pulp undergo a cold maceration, then a slight pressing that allows the separation from the skins. Fermentation in steel tanks follows. Finally, the aging of the wine that is left to rest about six months on the lees and a few months in the bottle.
Characteristics of white wine
On the organoleptic examination it appears with an appearance of straw-yellow color with golden shades. The scent is that of exotic fruit in particular stands out pineapple, followed by fruits such as apple and pear. The taste is discretely structured, soft, balanced and full in the mouth confirms the fruity aroma.
Suggested food pairings while tasting this white wine
Perfect with meat preparations, it is great to accompany the leg of lamb in the oven. The optimal serving temperature is 16°C. In large and high glass.
