The vine used for the production of this label is that of 100% Pinot Bianco. Cultivated in Collio from the second half of 1800. The origin is as usual the classic one of Russiz Superiore-Capriva del Friuli. Altitude: between 80 and 200 meters above sea level. The vinification and fermentation after the harvest of the grapes, for a 5% overripe, are separated from the stalk. The juice and pulp undergo a cold maceration, then a slight pressing that allows the separation from the skins. Fermentation and maturation take place in oak barrels. The aging of the wine is obtained is left to rest about three years on the lees and one year in the bottle.
Characteristics of this white wine
The appearance is an intense straw yellow with golden - green reflections. The perfume is characterized by an elegant aroma of ripe apple and flowers accompanied by a background of bread crust and sweet notes. The taste is enveloping in the mouth, it is full and full-bodied. The balance between flavor and softness leads to a very long finish that develops into warm notes.
