Gaja, fantastic winery located in Piedmont and famous worldwide, produces this refined wine with 100% Nebbiolo. The vineyards “Sorì Tildin” are located in the district of Barbaresco, on the top of a hill, where the soils are mainly characterized by marl, clay and limestone. The lands, south-oriented and located at 260 meters above the sea level, reach a surface of 3,38 hectares. The plants are 45 years old. The wine making considers fermentation and maceration for three weeks, followed by the aging in wood for 24 months.

This wine shows a ruby red colour full of garner reflections. The perfume has a rich and deep bouquet, characterized by balsamic resins, dark chocolate, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries and cherries. Its taste is intense, with its good freshness, soft tannins and the long persistence.
Recommended food pairings while tasting this excellent Barbaresco
Perfect with roasted meat, game and aged cheese. It has to be served at 18°C in a wide wine glass, in order to allow the right oxygenation and the diffusion of the scents.
